Marshall’s buddies, Gord and Jim, tip their wings in good-bye as they head back home to Chatsworth.  Both men flew down to the farm today to help Marshall with his plane, which they built themselves 10 years ago.  The friendship and knowledge these two retired men have shared with Marshall in the last year is invaluable.  It’s a relationship I wish for all children. Jim told stories of his travels in WW II; Gord described intrepid landings in Ontario’s north.  They’re no relation to Marshall; they’re two men who want to help a young pilot – no strings.  Relationships like this are rare.
